Kuno Vollet’s sculptures consist of flowing lines and shapes. Kuno often mainly uses brass and bronze as materials. Some works are not cast but made of iron and forged. Each work then gets its own patina or is covered with gold leaf. Some bronze works are polished until they shine bright like gold. However, for this sculpture, he uses residual materials, unlike his usual works. During the fair, the visitors will be able to walk under this massive sculpture.
It is the space around it that is inseparable and seems to be part of the material of the image, and an essential one is part of its operation: Kuno Vollet brings it ‘in between’ when it is visible. This is precisely what gives his works their fascinating appeal.
