Tijdens het lezingenprogramma van de KunstRAI kunnen de bezoekers genieten van dagelijkse lezingen waarin gesprekken plaatsvinden over onderwerpen binnen kunst en cultuur. Het programma bevat thema’s die verschillen van de veranderende rol van kunstenaars tot het verzamelen van kunst in een digitale wereld. Elke themalijn bestaat uit twee à drie korte talks van circa 20 tot 30 minuten, verspreid over de gehele beursperiode.
De lezingen worden gehouden op een gemakkelijk bereikbaar podium, waar het publiek comfortabel kan zitten. Bezoekers kunnen vóór of na de lezing naar de horeca als ze trek hebben.
De sprekers variëren van inhoudelijke deskundigen, opkomende kunstprofessionals en verzamelaars. Ook zullen nieuwe makers uit Hongkong een panel talk geven, onder begeleiding van een van onze moderators. Zo krijgen bezoekers op een toegankelijke manier meer inzicht in de hedendaagse kunstwereld en leren ze nieuwe, interessante onderwerpen en inzichten.

Textile artist Femke van Gemert’s artist talk ‘Reclaiming the Divine Feminine’ explores hidden goddess stories and challenges male-dominated narratives, inviting audiences to reclaim the feminine divine through shared spirituality and creativity. Curious to explore her practice further? On May 1st, Femke will also be giving a workshop on the topic at the Embassy of the Free Mind, inviting participants to create their own creative visualisation of the divine feminine. Learn more.

HOW TO START A MOVEMENT is een artistiek en activistisch postproject van kunstenaar Merel Smitt. Voor het Humanistisch Verbond ontwikkelde zij een klimaateditie rond de vraag: “Wat als we één uur per dag wijden aan het versterken van onze relatie met de aarde?” Gedurende drie weken ontvangen 100 deelnemers dagelijks een envelop die hen in beweging zet via opdrachten, teksten en interventies in het dagelijks leven. Ze onderzoeken zowel individueel als collectief wat activisme voor hen betekent en hoe kleine acties kunnen uitgroeien tot beweging. - 16.30 – 17.00: Embassy of the free mind: The Elements Series
