On Friday, March 29, KunstRAI / Art Amsterdam was entirely dedicated to the artist. From 6:00 – 9:00 PM, the first edition of The Artist Night took place. This event offered a unique opportunity to personally meet the artists and gallery owners. During this evening program, you could engage in conversation with the artists, who were present specifically for this occasion, while enjoying a drink.
For example, explore the work of Harald Vlugt (99 Gallery), who also was signing his latest book at his solo stand. Artist Bas Kosters (Wanrooij Gallery) could be found throughout the exhibition floor, where his performance ‘Joyfull Hand performance’ provided an interactive addition.
Various artists were also backstage. In the Backstage Academy, alumni of the ArtEZ Academy from Arnhem talked about their work and their experiences as young artists.
Visitors experienced captivating live performances, inspiring demonstrations, and gain a profound insight into the creative process of the artists. They, along with their gallery owners, were present to tell visitors everything about their work.
